Do you know what your bumper sticker says?
No, I don’t mean on your car!
I’m talking about the one on your forehead.
You can’t see it, but it’s what people know and feel about you without you even saying it.
If you could control what that message is (and great news – you can!) what would you want it to say?
My bumper sticker says…
You deserve to live your best life NOW!
I want to shout this from the rooftops so everyone hears it because it’s so important!
Earlier this year, I finally found the courage to leave a relationship that was no longer serving me.
Why did it take so long? Because I love him a lot, we took great care of each other, and I was comfortable.
Yet for a long time, there was a tiny faint voice deep inside me that knew I deserved more.
I was terrified to listen to that voice because once I did, I’d have to act on it. I’d have to let go. I’d have to risk being alone.
It took a long time to find that courage, but after learning to love and respect myself the way I want to be loved and respected by others, suddenly the choice became easy.
And so I took the leap.
The months since then have been HARD! It’s a big transition! But every day I KNOW this was the right decision. I’ve never doubted it.
I now live every day according to what I know is true: I deserve to live my best life NOW.
I will not settle.
I stay open to my desires and I chase them. They are guiding me, and when I honor them, my whole being lights up in a new welcome way.
Now I turn it over to you.
What does your bumper sticker say? What’s the one message, feeling, or experience you want others to have when they’re around you?
What choice can you make, what action can you take TODAY to align yourself with that message?
If you feel stuck and unsure, that’s perfectly okay.
We’re often so caught up in taking care of others that we struggle to tune in to what’s important to us, to see our true identity.
If that’s where you’re at, then I’d love to invite you to a complimentary Know Your Worth Clarity Session on how to prioritize yourself without feeling guilty or selfish.
Here’s to living your truth and lighting up your life! You deserve it all. Go get it.
